As an MBA consultant during my summer, I supported the creating of the new applied learning program. In 2022 only a few weeks after I joined Duke, the university has announced a Duke Climate Commitment. Environmental Protection Tools - Biodiversity Credits

During my first summer at Duke, explored a concept of biodiversity credits for the major national conservation NGO - National Parks Conservation Association. We looked how feasible is to create a simple yet robust metric to finance environmental protection effort. Can biodiversity credits achieve this goal? My short answer is no and I further explored this subject during the following years as part of my Master Project at the Nicholas School.
