From UN climate and biodiversity conferences to field projects in diverse local contexts, I have seen how global ambitions meet economic realities on the ground. These experiences in over 30 countries shaped my understanding of how policy, markets, and communities interact. Coupled with proficiency in five languages, this perspective allows me to translate global trends into grounded, actionable strategies for organizations.

Duke University Delegation to UNFCCC Conference of the Parties in Azerbaijan
Every year Duke selects a group of 12-16 students (Duke Today article) from over two hundred applicants to attend the forefront of global effort to combat climate change. During the conference, each student is also representing a chosen 'client' - an organization their support. I decided to engage with the Ukraine's Ministry of Environmental Protection. Additionally as a president of UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School Net Impact Chapter, I wrote about COP for the Net Impact (article and Instagram stories series).
People's Perception of Climate Change
During my first Semester at Sea voyage in 2017, we had a fantastic team working on a Global Study (main class with 600 students) capstone project. Almost in every country, we would interview what people thought and heard of climate change. See the video: Perception of Climate Change.
High Level Forum on Sustainable Development - United Nations
After participating in both climate COP29 in Baku and biodiversity COP16 in Cali, I was curious to see how recurring conferences are happening at its heart - United Nations NYC Headquarter. Science, Policy and Society: A Trinity That Can Accelerate the 2030 Agenda article.
As my master project focused on environmental protection tools and specifically biodiversity credits, COP16 was an excellent place to learn about the state of global agreements on biological diversity.
